If you travel from Kibra into town or out towards the airport, these are the works to plan around.
Lang'ata Road at Madaraka: works to remove the Madaraka roundabout are ongoing, with digging along the median and new drains between the Nyayo Stadium roundabout and the T-Mall overpass. No end date has been published.
Mombasa Road at Cabanas, 17 September to 22 October: the JKIA-bound side from Cabanas to the Eastern Bypass off-ramp is partly closed for drain building. Use the diversion lane and follow traffic marshals, KeNHA says.
Nairobi Expressway, Westlands exit, until 5pm Sunday 20 September: exiting traffic is sent onto lower Waiyaki Way while the overpass deck is repaired. Tolls are not affected.
Waiyaki Way, until 25 September: the Nakuru-bound side between Karuna Close and Westlands Roundabout is partly closed for footbridge works.
Haile Selassie Avenue, until 12 October: partly closed for bridge and culvert works.
Kenyatta Avenue, Valley Road and Jakaya Kikwete Road, until 12 February 2027: partly closed for the same works.
