Tracker: Kibra’s NG-CDF money — what was allocated, what arrived, and what the auditors found.
Last updated: 17 September 2026. The National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF) pays for bursaries, classrooms and other local projects. This page tracks Kibra's share.
Allocated and released, by financial year
2019/20: allocated Sh137.37m, released Sh137.37m
2020/21: allocated Sh137.09m, released Sh119.0m
2021/22: allocated Sh137.09m, released Sh115.09m
2022/23: allocated Sh145.09m, released Sh145.09m
2023/24: allocated Sh175.36m, released Sh189.76m (more than allocated; the records do not say why)
2024/25: allocated Sh179.44m, released Sh137.44m so far
2025/26: allocated Sh192.61m, released Sh106.0m (about 55%), the last payment on 16 March 2026
2026/27: released Sh35.0m so far (Sh20m on 12 August, Sh15m on 2 September)
The Board's data still shows Kibra's 2026/27 allocation as Sh192.61m, the same as last year. But Capital FM reports the national fund rose to Sh61.8 billion this year, with every constituency getting Sh8.8m to Sh11.3m more. The Kibra figure is probably not yet updated.
