Tusker need a win at Nyayo to get past Al Ahli Wad Madani.
Tusker FC host Sudan's Al Ahli Wad Madani at Nyayo National Stadium on Saturday in the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup first preliminary round tie, with the scores level at 2-2.
Tusker were 2-0 up in the first leg at Kigali Pelé Stadium in Rwanda before Al Ahli fought back to draw. The winner over the two legs meets either AS Kigali or Al-Hilal Benghazi in the second preliminary round.
"We know them"
Captain Abud Omar, back from an ankle injury, said the team is ready. "We have prepared well, and we have enough ammunition to deal with them," he said, adding that the result will depend on the whole squad, not one player.
Assistant captain Tom Teka admitted the team lost concentration in Kigali after controlling the first half. Coach Julien Mette said the first meeting had taught them what to expect. "Now we have played them, we know them 100 per cent. So we will not be surprised," he said.
